Took my "test drive" today at the Kristal Auto Mall in Brooklyn. Took about an hour and $2.50 to get 7,500 miles! Was in and out of the dealership in less than 5 minutes.

Re this: I asked the Cadillac concierge about it, and she said they set a number of 500 (did she say 5000?) - and when that number maxed out with registrations the promo was cut. Not like what BA and TPG writes, that they probably weren't expecting such a huge amount just for miles etc.. It was planned from the start to end. As long as you registered before the promotion was cut, than you will get the miles. They have people with bonus-miles appointments as late as December.

No was there for only 5 minutes. Transportation (taking a bus) to get there and back, ate up about an hour.

my  miles posted about 4 days after my not test drive.
Manager at the dealer was very nice about it. Didn't even ask if I really wanted to test drive it.
Said that Cadillac benefits just by getting into me into the showroom. Because you never know, some day down the line.... yeah right.

Great. My agent also told me that when I came there, that they had already registered me for the miles, before I even walked in.
