Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

or maybe it means1) Direct Deposit
2) Debit Card (online)
and 3) Cash Reloads at target
My line of thinking as well

I got similar language for my Amex Serve card

"You can continue to easily add money through Direct Deposit, Debit Card, American Express Credit and Cash Reloads at thousands of locations."

May be cash only reloads still.  It's a poorly written statement.

Seriously?
I wanted 1000% confirmation this is still dead
Just on a side note gc/dc loads in Target were always considered cash loads anyway...

Do you mean blue credit card or blue prepaid card? If you mean credit, the answer is no. If you mean prepaid, yes. You can have only 1 amex prepaid card.

Planning to cancel my Redcard....once we cancel, can we still log in and have access to our records - for how long? did not see a Wiki on this...thanks

If you use a different email address & phone number to sign up for Serve/Bluebird, you can download the statements up to 90 days after you close Redbird.

But you should use the same email + phone number as you had on Redbird before closing it to prevent possible issues (see this guide for more details). If you use the same email + phone number, once your Serve/Bluebird registration is completed successfully, you will no longer be able to login to the Redbird acct that lastly had the same email + phone number.

I tested this myself and others have also tested it.
