Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Just tried the target by flatbush ave they said only can be loaded with a debit card

From what I heard is that its a dont ask dont tell policy. You walk in and tell them "I'd like to load this card" and thats it. If they have issues tell them to follow the prompts on the screen. Do not ask for a manager. They make up the rules. There is no memo.

The real question is tomorrow..
As it was mentioned uptrend (which means nothing) that cc loading is/was only till the end of November..

Which will just make it a bit more difficult because of the added cost and time in getting the "debit cards" :-)

BTW Shoprite is now carrying Visa and MC $20-$500 loadable GCs for $5.95
