Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Wondering how people are loading their redbird.  Are you using the same card or more than one card to load?  If multiple cards, are you doing the same amount per card/per month?  Do people use the same strategy each month or mix it up?  Maybe someone can start a poll.  :)

I want to own a few redbirds but your only allowed one per SSN. So what do I do to own more than one? Just register it on other SSN's?

Make them up. Once you find one that works go sign up for credit cards using that and open some bank accounts as well.

I know I'm late, but I got my first prepaid RC today!
I've got a bunch of Q's, but my main Q at this point is, how many ppl changed their pharmacy from CVS to Target as a year ago they may have been going into CVS a few times a week and now going to Target (though maybe a bit less often)... I'm hoping that Target is happy with turnout and keeps it for a while...

on my amex target comes up as wholesale store. Not pharmacy. What's to gain?

But then you have to spend even more time in target. Probably uses less time to drive to cvs for the pharmacy than to navigate target and deal with the mobs
