Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

From T&C or T&E (trial and error)?
Well I guess T&E as that's what I did,
But based on how it works, they don't know what you have when you buy..
What's your plan for yud shvat?

my target store is classified as grocery/supermarket (at least with visa). will loading the prepaid card with a amex blue cash get me 6%?

YMMV
Also be careful now with that card, as many people are getting shut down...

but they know when you register, right? Even the cell # and email. because I entered 2 emails that they already had in the Amex system.
Needed to make a 3rd (new email) when I registered the card.

that's good. so your acct showed a $500 balance when you registered it online? And then at home you could write in the other person -- that's good. let's pray that they keep the cc loads alive.
Yes, and you can even buy (on your name) and load $500 while you're already registered for red card,
The question is, how do you pull out the 500 if you can't register it to you own name..?

My experience has been that you need an email not in amex system. I think phone # can be a duplicate.

AFAIK not - amex codes things differently than Visa does
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Q. If I use my SPG for reloading my redcard will amex close my SPG? Or more is there a big chance they will?

Ok that I'd why I added on the second part of the q. In cases of other GC's were there such problems?

All amex or any cc sees is target. They don't see what your purchases actually are. Don't see how it's an issue. I never heard of anyone getting shutdown for the vr purchases at cvs, at least once they established a pattern of spending there ... Cmiiaw
