Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Mine took a while to show up as well.  Ended up received perm card and calling up to activate.  Rep was able to immediately send verify-email and took care of all at once...

Ok so my redcard reload goes as follows,
Go to Staples buy $2,500 vgc,
Go to target, wait on line, hand the (newly hired) cashier my card, she requested help b4 I had the opportunity to..
Swipe #1 1,000
Swipe #2 (with help) 1,000
(a little surprised)
Swipe #3 500
Then time to unload the gc
Swipe gc 1, cancel, credit, signature (sometimes), tell her the last 4 #..
And move on..
She didn't need to do anything special on her end, besides putting the last 4 #s

3 loads
13 swipes all in one transaction :)
What's your plan for yud shvat?
