Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

not loading but i have paid for the $5 card with another RedCard and gotten the 5% off the purchase only.

I think that you are referring to the $5 fee. That's different than paying to load.

Correct. I think it was missing a comma. "not loading, but..." and when i loaded $1.00 on the card it did not take a nickel off the load, so no 5% off the load either.
