Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

What should I say, if for cheap stones you are willing to sell your diamonds then go ahead.
You can get 50k in one shot when you use it for a minimum spend VS. a few bonus points by liquidating a GC...

So you think if everyone goes in twice a month, does the 5k it will last longer? What happened to BB... It will not make a diff, in fact if everyone who liquidated gift card, pushes debit it may even last longer.
Just don't go when its super busy and the cashier will not mind watching you for a couple extra minutes.

As for me, I do not liquidate GC in target.

You arent calculating this right. 25k+ points with gc loads per RC per month.

1. per month, if it lasts more than one, 2. you pay $5 (or $6 if purchased online) for each 1000 points times 25 that's $125 what you don't pay otherwise, plus, plus, = that it will die fast

Are you for real or pulling our collective legs? 25,868 UR for ~$174 per redcard is not worth it??? Dan just valued UR at 1.75 cents per. Thats a profit of 1.1cents at a minimum +/- $260 per RedCard. Its been around for 4 months now. Keep wringing your hands that it will die...and let us win.

If you think so then start running around finding target stores like the days we ran around for CVS stores
also 1.75 cpp is usage value, these sell for 1.5 MAX, in most cases 1.3

Just went to Target did the FT method by cashier with 2 different amex credit cards, got denied for fraud protection (not sure why as I do allot of spending on them). I walked around the store and called amex and they approved it with out any questions went back online (Cashier called me to skip to the front because I waited already once) and gladly did the FT method again for 2 different redcards and had no problems!

Question is: when is it safe to withdraw the money thru bill pay? should I wait a few days not to get flagged?
