Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

In which case he should NOT try to register it online.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Wont matter.  The card is fried.  But he should go immediately to customer service with the receipt and redcard to refund the charge.  That's the only way to get the $500 back.

I ordered my perm card Friday and it said it was shipped out Sunday?

How long from your experience did it take from the day it was shipped out to receive it?

Beginning to worry as i was just limited to 1k load on one card at Gateway CS. I may not have enough days left in the months to complete second 2.5k loads on my cards  ;D

I see you live in Brooklyn. Why did you go to the gateway store?

Also why did they limit you to 1K?

I don't get it...

Each store has a policy on how much you can load daily?

they make it up but it's not worth ruining it for everyone by making a big deal out of it so you just say ok and move on
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

But can you just go to a different cashier a few minutes later and try again?

I don't get this whole thing...

According to CS whom I spoke with at RedCard on the phone, they said you can't even do Loads with A CC...

Why does Target allow this?
