Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

SPG (1.25ppd), EDP(1.5ppd), Venture to meet spend

IMHO Cashback cards are a waste on this. Again IMHO MS is designed to build mileage balances not accumulate CB.
If your don't travel alot and have known expenses coming up then cb makes sense. In my case I'm hoping to pay for a family trip to Disney with arrival. With little kids we don't do much traveling so I have years, hopefully to build points, even if it's sign up bonuses and regular spend.

So which cards are you guys using to get the best value on CC?

Either:
Citi Double Cash 2% CB
Barclays Arrival + 2.2% travel
Cap 1 Venture 2% Travel/Giftcards

Any other cards that have high value that you're using?

I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

UH....

I really need a way to get some more SPG points besides spending on the SPG...

I have a wealth of miles, but hotels almost nothing compared

I could take my UR points and convert them to HYATT.

HYATT also comes out to be on AVG 2PPR

First the Target on Flatbush Avenue said only 1,000 per card. Now the Target by Erskine refused to do more than 500 period. I think they are catching on.

They also have many deals that price out at exactly $1000, $1000, & $500 and must be charged separately.
