Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

FYI just tried at 2 different cashiers. One said can't do it. Went to another lady she said no problem but couldn't get the card reader to read the RC. Called over manager who anyways confirmed that no more CC will be able to be used. I guess we should cross Hackensack off the list of targets.

Try again Tom, and post again.
I loaded tonight no problem in a other heavily populated DDF location.

Just loaded REDcard with CC with multiple swipes in palisades mall. No issues.

Yes. Multiple swipes in a single transactions (CIIW) is hard coded not to work.

I do believe it was updated to not allow that. I just wanted to check. From your post, kind of sounded as you got one swipe to work.
