Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

My friend was just told in Valley Stream that he can only load $1000/day.

The end sure seems to be near, my friends. :'( Start getting access to those Androids to set up Serve with Softcard again.

Or gas up your cars and take a bit of a longer drive.

Until we dont have definitive hard coded evidence maybe some of you should read up on Chicken Little!!!

I was told limit $500 last night. This is at a target that I actually taught them how to do the red card in the first place. Now they are getting all official on me... Such is life... I may be way off but I would guess credit card loading gets one more month before it dies.

Even if you can only load $1,000 a day (there is no policy like this whatsoever), this is not over. Instead of two trips, it will take five. Not the biggest deal for free MS.

The one I was at last night was in a very unconcetrated DD area (in fact it was a very unpopulated area in general). Technically until they hard code it we are good to go, but if in reality lots of stores make tough rules, we would have to fly to Wyoming to load each time..

Was just in Target and they told me store policy changes last Monday to cash or debit loads only... Anyone know of this? Is this the official Target policy now? Or just this specific store??

One store and probably just a few cashiers.

Tried customer service, and they called down the manager. Tried going to regular cashier, and they said it can only be filled by customer service. This is by Atlantic Terminal btw.
