Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Just reread the post I quoted. Not sure how something would post as a cash advance when loading with amex GC at target...

I was referring to BUYING amex GCs.

I'm not trying to dispute how the charge will go through. Just saying, if one wants to be extra careful...

Went into the store to load three cards  and was again limited -- this time to $2500 total. Store clerk said there was a $2500 limit per person per day (obviously incorrect, but what can you do).
He clearly has no clue what he is talking about.

Anyone loaded with BOA cash reward card and got 2% cash back? It is a card with 2 % back on grocery & 3% back on gas  up to $1500 every 3 months.
Does BOA code target as grocery?

Arrival Plus gives 2.22% back and fico score and some credit union credit cards give 3% back at Targets coded as groceries.
