Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Just did my first successful load! Had trouble at first with the credit / debit issue but someone help me out and did it successfully. Thnx pixi and yiyzf!

The one I go to regularly didn't have my favorite agents and had  different agents at customer desk.,40 plus female. They love to grill you on  and  hate people like us doing CC reload.
So I went in cashiers line. I bought something first and than ask for load, told her $1k load. asked me for ID, now here is the very funny part, The Rebird is in my brother's name, The credit card is my wife's and ID is mine. We all have different first and last names. She looks and says OK. I swipe and left.  I was prepared to say I used wrong cards and use my own cards but she got confused? because of all foreign names? LOL

Mainly a formality  when asking and looking at cards. though some will be very tight about it.

I think you confused the original flow of the thread. The idea anonymous user was giving was to add au on cc so they can swipe to rc. Nobody was saying that you can load onto au of rc itself.
