Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

I've done a deposit for somebody else into a third person account with TD with no issues...
I have done it with Chase also but their official policy is NO.

There is a new law going in efect later this year that u cant deposit cash only in your own account, but Chase for some reason started already enforcing this law already almost a half year

Why not do random numbers like 374 and 763 etc?

I tried depositing a check made out to my wife into my TD account, and they said no.

A RC AU can't be loaded.

Just so I understand... I was thinking of setting up myself as an AU on my wife's RC so that if they ask me for ID while making a load, it would match. But, based on what you're saying, I will not be able to load her RC account with my AU card anyway. Only the account owner can load.  Is this correct?

I find this whole cash deposit thing a bit weird. My brother had $ to deposit for me- walked into bank was denied, so I mailed him a copy of my debit card and he deposited into ATM no problem (except for that one time the ATM ate the money...).

Love going to Targets that never seen the Red card before. It's been this long and they still don't know what to do with it. 😊

If i understand all your negatives and misspellings you are saying there is a new law that if you make a cash deposit you cannot deposit in in your own account unless you ALSO deposit some in someone else's account as well?
Kind of a weird law...

or maybe he means you can't deposit cash only, in your account, it has to be accompanied by a check or something like that ;)
