Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Not when he is either clearly an idiot for calling or a moron for  not actually doing any research. Just because you believed the shmo on FT, you shouldn't go around defending every idiot posting ridiculous garbage.
What's FT got to do with this? He's allowed to post what he wants. He's probably new to RC and he's reporting what happened to him. If that's his experience, he can post it. If you think he's wrong, you can post that too. I thought he was wrong, and I said so, but not by bashing him and accusing him of all sorts of strange things. Just leave the guy alone.

or maybe he means you can't deposit cash only, in your account, it has to be accompanied by a check or something like that ;)
I just deposited a lot of cash into a chase account at the teller no prob. No checks accompanied the cash so I'm not sure who made this up.

Dude you got to stop these accusations. We've been through this already-he's not going to harm your business. You got to let a guy comment what's on his mind without being subject to this kind of stuff.

According to you, everybody is allowed to post whatever they want (BS included), but I got to stop posting whatever I want because you say so? Fuzzy logic or funny guy, or both? lol

It looks to me that this person spread misinformation by stating that the Target prepaid REDcard page at first had it in writing that it allowed credit card loads but now it has removed that part from the website:

I went on the website and there's no mention of the option of loading up from a CC or gift card either, and two days ago it was posted on their website.

At no point did the Redbird page state as such that Redbird can be loaded with credit cards.

He meant that you now need id to deposit cash,  so by default it can only be in your own account

Seems like reading comprehension ain't your thing, Mr. RC Salesman. Anybody can post what he wants, you or him, but should do so respectfully and mindful of the fact that you're not the only person with a right to post. Notice how before when this guy posted lots of people answered him telling him he's wrong but you're the only one who accused him of "spreading misinformation". Aside from that comment being crazy it's also baseless. He's probably just new to RC and so posted his experience. Just tell him nicely he's incorrect, just like everyone else. For example:
Loaded $2,500 on Friday with no issues. In NY.
See the difference?
As for CM,
OK not only will I post that he is wrong but also he is full of it and is a troll. Maybe you should read up on the duck test or better yet maybe sungames is in your future.  ;)
I don't follow those. But as long as you finally say I have a bright future I'm happy that's good enough. ;D

Dude, not only you don't follow news and facts (you're content with independent opinions as facts), you're having issues with some basic concepts, like facts, opinions, lies/misinformation, etc.

The person clearly lied, said the Redbird page had it in writing that you could load with credit cards but now it doesn't becasue it removed this part.

This is not a matter of opinion, it either did or didn't say that you could load Redbird with a credit card. Well it never did and this person pulled this rather specific fact out of his ass.

In any case, I didn't reply to your comment in this instance (you replied to mine telling me how to comment on such statements) so I don't see the point in your complaints that most people don't get you here...enjoy your independent opinions.

Ok I'm going to stop, Mr. RC Salesman.
I suggest you sue this guy btw, for libel, as he "clearly lied" (of course intentionally) with intent to harm your RC business. So don't bother with posting against him I suggest you take this to the next step.
