Tried Redcard (new) at multiple targets today with a new Chase SP. Kept rejecting as denied, even though repeatidly calling chase and talking to them, and them putting 'notes' on the account with the fraud department that it should be allowed. Tried Citi card right after and it worked (even though denied first time also for fraud, but eventually was able to get through).

What can I do to get my CSP working with redbird?

Ironically I just bumped into him in target while loading my redcard, when he tried loading something obviously went wrong and he thought CC loading was the issue as you can see he is not a very seasoned DDFer and he made an innocent mistake

best idea is to have the fraud dept. on the phone as you load.

Tried that-they just keep putting me on hold and saying it should work try again. doesn't work, another 10m hold...after two 35m sessions at separate targets I had to go but no resolution as of now...

sorry... Only other idea that might help, is to load smaller amounts, and then try larger. Good luck,

Yeah...that's not what I'm saying. I posted about one particular card I am personally having difficulty with, and even went on to say that a different card worked.

Thanks- guess I'll try that. I suggested to the rep at one point when I was on the phone with them and they insisted I not do that for some reason- don't know why I listened. Will try tomorrow.

Take CSP to a Redbird whisperer.

Sorry couldn't resist. Try loading smaller amounts than what you were attempting, than gradually increase, also throw in some regular (smaller amounts) of spend at Target with CSP. The bank's computer has to 'learn' your shopping behavior and not flag you eventually, diff banks have diff tolerances built into their algorithms for flagging transactions as possible fraud/theft. Big box stores like Target are prime fraud/theft targets (pun intended) so  no surprise there.
