Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Nah, he could be from Lakewood too.
Sorry. I'm too jaded. I live amongst them, so I assumed it must be them. I stand corrected. It should have contained a few l'choira's, l'maisahs, and pushoots if that was the case.

But of course, it's just fast typing that will be blamed.

You may still need to enter the billing zip code. You can find it on your cc bill, or somewhere on the cc website, or you can call your cc and ask them for it.
I never saw that for a cc that was in their system??

You're right Lakewood is a totally different language from Boro Park no question about it.

I was by target in Harlem it used to work like a charm but today I was in for surprises as soon as I arrive at the cashier they all told me to go to the guest service and as soon as I went to the guest service they automatically knew that I came to load RC but I didn't have my own card and they requested ID and all had To match the name on the RC the name on the credit card and ID so I went out with nothing. It was a disaster.

Was at Target in Paramus today and they would only let cash or debit card:(

I walked into Target in Cleveland (University Square) today to get a RC, but couldn't find one. When I asked guest services they said that they were told this morning to pull them all. Said maybe I should try a different Target...???

Anyone have a similar exp elsewhere?

What's the story these days at the Target on Flatbush Ave. and Ave. H in Brooklyn? Can I load at any register or only GS, do they allow loading only a certain amount, can I use Visa GCs, and if yes, can I use multiple GCs of $500 each, etc. etc.?

Sorry, I tried searching this thread, but the search function doesn't like "Ave H" as a search parameter. And the fact that there's more than one Target on Flatbush Avenue isn't helping matters, either... I just don't wanna be one of the
n00bs are back from Israel and trying to reinvent the wheel
...and screw things up more than they already are around here. :P

It goes by the name Brooklyn junction (that's why Ave. H didn't come up in search). They almost always only let 1,000 per load. You have to have matching CC,RC, and ID therefore visa gc will not work. You have to load at CS, but only managers can do reload.

Do you mean per day, or will they let me load $2,500 in one day over 3 loads (Say $950, $800 and $750)?

If no, are there any Targets left in NYC that let you load up to $2,500 in 1 day?
