Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

There is nothing inherently wrong with beginning a sentence with "and".
There actually is-it's against the rules of grammar. Never start a sentence with "and" or a connecting word (though, like all other grammar rules, there are exceptions). But so careful you don't have to be under informal circumstances like this (yes, this last sentence was grammatically incorrect).

It's against the rules of grammar... for a third grader.

I trust you're beyond said lofty milestone and have the courage and fortitude to transcend the rigidity of such rudimentary "rules."

Well not quite. Using and in the beginning of a sentence is discouraged from first grade through graduate school. However, strictly speaking, you often may do so.

Other than starting a sentence with "And", congratulations on your recent grammar improvements!!
But there is absolutely nothing wrong with beginning a sentence with "and" (or "but").
Check any English usage guide.
Here is one online:
http://grammar.about.com/od/grammarfaq/f/butsentencefaq.htm
Question: Is It Wrong to Begin a Sentence With "But"?Answer: No.According to a usage note in the fourth edition of The American Heritage Dictionary, "But may be used to begin a sentence at all levels of style."The same point was made over a century ago by Harvard rhetorician Adams Sherman Hill: "Objection is sometimes taken to employment of but or and at the beginning of a sentence; but for this there is much good usage" (The Principles of Rhetoric, 1896). In fact, it has been common practice to begin sentences with a conjunction since at least as far back as the 10th century.Still, the superstition persists that and and but should be used only to join elements within a sentence, not to join one sentence to another.

It's still discouraged in most circles. And in many cases (pun intended) it actually is incorrect, like "He went there. And there.".

And there we have it.

It's still discouraged in most circles. And in many cases (pun intended) it actually is incorrect, like "He went there. And there.".

And even there it's not "actually" incorrect.

Many a great writer, both in novels and in newspapers, often employ that technique for style and flair.

Again, you gotta be able to put on your big boy pants to take command of the English language and bend it to your literary prowess, lest you remain stuck confined to third grade.
