Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Are you guys on the east coast or west coast? B/c my friend had the same issue. He loaded at the end of last month before 12 Pacific time, so it already counted towards the next month...
Its only the 30th today. The first is tomorrow. What are you talking about?!?!

If you loaded after midnight on 4/1 thinking it still counted for March, you would be maxed out for April before loading another 5k.

I think he is asking --- if use a Amex card to load redbird -- will he get  MR points for the amount he has loaded -if so -- will he get points on "any" Amex he loads with redbird --I  do not have a redbird so can not help him

Was at a target in New York, customer service said they were surprised that the system allowed it to process the charge because they said it was discontinued in their store. Someone came in and actually cut up the card she said but she does not know the reason why.

Can you be a wee bit more specific. And explain exactly what happened.
