Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

The only reason I'm even asking is because someone in the flyer talk thread also claimed to have done it today... (Unless it's the same guy  ;) )... And just annoyed, because I still had $7,500 of loads avialble to me this month if I would just get one more day!!

Cant' hurt to go and try tonight/tomorrow, right?  Would be great news if you had success, though unfortunateley, I think unlikely.

Yea well I tried @ 8am this morning and it was a no go.... I can drive around a bit but only if there is some chance that not all registers are hard coded yet...

As was previously suggested by Dan they may not have rolled it out entirely. So a fluke may have been possible. I saw the CSR at VS today totally flustered that CC wouldnt work for the guy before me. Im sure she ignored the screen and tried to force it to take the CC, just from her reaction. So its definitely hardcoded but maybe not everywhere.
