Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Awaiting my permanent card, loaded my temp in NYC without a problem (H/T noturbizness). If this is OT, kindly direct me to the right place; looking for background on how best to unload the card and triggers (e.g. - loading an SP to RED, unloading to Chase Checking and paying SP seems imprudent). TIA!

Is it possible to reload a amex prepaid Redcard using a target visa credit card or target debt card. Thereby earn 5% for every dollar of manufactured spend (best part there would be no cap)?

No. Is stated upthread that if you use the Visa CC you do not get the 5% off.

Was able to load something on my temporary  card but the ATM in target store was chase ATM and shows limit of $400.  I couldn't  withdraw anything  and I am sure  it would  have  charged  me fee. Can I withdraw  from the temporary  card?

FYI- I posted upthread that the ATM i used in target warned me on screen that there would be a 2.50 fee added. However i chanced it, and I did not get charged. If you get charged, i would just bring the reciept over to CS. They should give you back your $.

can you withdraw  with temporary  card?   The target I went to  had Chase ATM with  max limit  of $400 but I still couldn't  withdraw any amount.

Apparently you can but only once you've registered online for a permanent one.
