Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Only Serve can be loaded online with CC.
Are you talking Amex or will my linked visa still work?

For the record, I used the F"T method on the last day that the FT method still worked, in January...
How's that?

Does anyone know if a Serve card can still be used to load a Redcard?

for 5% off at target you can just get a target debit card. it pulls straight out of your bank account like any other debit card but still gives 5% and no pull.

Just got rejected at target in NH. Clerk said they couldn't load any amount on it. She said she' had a lot of redcards recently that wouldn't let her proceed. Gonna try again with a different clerk, hopefully it was just a fluke.

I did split tender tonight. Cs didn't think it could be done. But was willing to try. After clerk inputs 1k, swipe vgc. The pos will ask if you want to put the entire amount on 1 card. Tap no and tell clerk how much you want from card.
Was wondering how to do that. I think whever I hit no it would freeze up or give an error.  I'll try that next week.  Thanks!

I figured the CC version was worth it so I could get the 5% off and pay it off with serve and didn't care about the credit pull.

I tried this twice  (doing split tender  with only a small amount on the redcard) it only did %5 off the first time.
