Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Why would the transaction go through but a paper come out that you can't use GC's? If they can detect GC's and don't want us using them, they should be able to block the transaction as well.
Loading GC's work this way. They charge your CC first then they activate the cards. If activation fails then you have a problem.

But it sounded from  the comment that the load with vgc was successful. So why would the register spit out a paper that non bank debit cards not allowed if it processed the load anyway?

Has anyone else been running into any issues uploading documents for id verification? Every time I try and login into this link https://secure.prepaidredcard.com/User/securefileupload it shows me the "your account is under review check your email" message. I tried faxing in but they say the documents are coming out too dark
