Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Incognito doesn't help
Call them up and get them to re-request the documents, took me like 3 HUCA's till it worked...

Just keep requesting that they send the email requesting the docs again?

anyone else have this happen?
I went to target to reload with a amex biz platinum and was blocked - didn't matter whether $10 or $1000. The CS was nice enough to turn around the monitor and show me, it said "only $0.00 can be applied by this payment form." Also tried it with a regular citi card, same deal. This was in southwest NH.

It happened to me also. First I tried all my Amex cards, and they all got declined. I then sat on hold for about an hour, to no avail. I then tried all my chase cards, and had the same issue. Barclays and citi were the same story. I even tried all my BOFA AA cards, and they suffered the same fate. I think all the banks have a vendetta against me.
