Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

With RC you don't need that.  The cc charge is 'Target'.  And the payment is from an Amex bank.

Gd bless america...

Curious as to why ATM didn't work at 6:30... I thought they were out of 20's but either they reloaded or I hit some sort of limit...

Has anyone attempted to transfer in excess of 5k to a linked bank account?  I tried and the transaction didn't go through.  Ended up doing bp.

Did the transaction fail from the beginning, or later in the process?

I just transferred $5495 to my bank account and it seems like it's going through.

Is there any benefit to withdrawing cash over transferring to a linked bank account?

I just transferred $5495 to my bank account and it seems like it's going through.

Transaction was initially processed and failed later on.  The money was then redeposited back to my RC.

How long later?

How long later?

I noticed it a few days later.  It was not immediate.

You need to verify bank account. Then it'll go through. PUTPAC. They'll ask you to upload bank stmt. Names must match.

+1

Happened to me too. Transferred 7k, they reversed it, I uploaded drivers license, and then it worked.

I am hoping someone has tried it before me. If not, I may just try it myself.
