Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Ya VS!
They all said noway.
Called over BOTH managers all said not gonna happen.
What's the problem?

If they say no, say thank you, load your 1k and move on. Go back another day. Sometimes youll be luckier with CS and sometimes not. They still let 1k so just do that. I had a good 2 weeks where it was 1k each time and nothing else was possible according to the store.
Work hard, Play harder!

Yes. Turn your coat inside out, put on sun glasses and quickly shave. Wanna make sure they dont really start hating on all of us :D
also, this is only if the managers werent called over
if it becomes a big thing, then just leave after 1 swipe
if the cashier said its only 1k, then swipe and come back a few minutes later to another cashier (preferably not the one right next to the first one)

or just say "o, ok, thanks" and go to another cashier a few minutes later
Also went to a cashier said can only do it by Guest services.
One lady was there and said not gonna happen. Called managers and thus my problem.

okay, but moderation is still very helpful. This system should be ruined just because people overdo it each day with too many RCs....

They also have many deals that price out at exactly $1000, $1000, & $500 and must be charged separately.
For example? Loaded my RC with new arrival+ and got a call from fraud. Want to have an explanation should they ask. The rep told me good luck with my project before she hung up.  They said they are very on top of target because of the recent fraud.

I've had different experiences it really depends on which customer service rep and who's the manager also with the cashier it obviously depends on which cashier the one that I got yesterday had no issue and I even went around for a second time when somebody got on line behind me

It's time for one of us to become a Target cashier/employee for the benefit of (ourselves and) many others around us.....  Lots of benefits.
