Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Just tried loading at 12:01 am at my target and a message popped up saying cash only. They tried swiping with CC but it would not go. Gave error.  Manager who had been great came over and tried but it wouldn't go.  As we were trying to figure it out he got an email from corporate saying that redcard prepaid loads can only be done with cash or a bank debit card.  No more credit card or gift card loading. I know this stuff usually goes in JS, but this is a target where ive had no issues whatsoever, and i saw the actual email. I will post a picture shortly...

Is there a monthly limit of how much you can withdraw to a bank account? Looked on the website but didn't see any limitation relating to that...
