Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

not to mention that you posted in the wrong thread. In case you were talking about the dumbass theory that this is going away immediately and not randomely talking about your grandfather clock, try posting here

Tell me about it. But such sentiment isn't appreciated here.

Tried Redcard (new) at multiple targets today with a new Chase SP. Kept rejecting as denied, even though repeatidly calling chase and talking to them, and them putting 'notes' on the account with the fraud department that it should be allowed. Tried Citi card right after and it worked (even though denied first time also for fraud, but eventually was able to get through).

What can I do to get my CSP working with redbird?
Having same issues with new CSP. Even random numbers don't help. Think you may need to load in much smaller increments, at least to start off.

Yes. That would make sense because of fraud. CC companies take time to learn ur spending habits. Try calling the comp before you MS

I used a card that was open for 17 years and a $942 charge was declined with a fraud alert and after a few more fraud alerts for some rc loads i did $2500 a week later without any fraud alerts
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Was that the largest purchase you made on the card?

How can I pay off cc with RC? It seems like I would go to the pay my bills option --> add a payee --> then use my cc number as account number for person or business I'm paying. What address would I be using for my cc?

Search for your credit card company in the search bar for businesses and add that as payee. There will be an input area for your account num

I wrote a post about how to load Redbird with multiple gift cards, or gift cards + credit cards, all in one transaction. For anyone that is interested, you can read it here.

When they ask the last four, what do you give them? The last card you swiped?
