Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

The CC that you used to fill up your RB account? If yes, it's recommended that you don't.
Who said that???

Anybody having issues with US bank GCs being denied.  I keep getting "invalid pin code."  I also changed the pin numbers already, but still no go.  I tried to do it as a credit card, but the rep wouldn't allow unless it matched my ID.  With my cousin's name on the RB and no name on the GC, I had no choice but to say thank you and leave. haha  Anybody else having issues?

what do you mean? I'm in CA. There's no competition here. Fair game. And there's at least 4 Walmart's, Targets, Staples, etc within a 5 mile radius.

I will. Just wanted to know though if US Banks are out now and to just stick to Metabanks just in case. Thanks.

How would the cashier know whether you did debit or credit? When it asks for a pin, just hit cancel and swipe as credit and don't say anything.

When doing credit, they ask for last 4 of card.

She told me that it was on the screen that I need to show ID. I believe that it was because I did debit first and because the machine wasn't taking it after many tries, I asked to do credit instead. May have put her guard up then. Oh well, I have 3+ Targets close by.

Just to confirm:

AGC works fine as loads? Hit cancel > swipe as credit > (might ask for last 4 on card?) > Done.

Am I missing anything?
