All amex or any cc sees is target. They don't see what your purchases actually are.

If I reload a card and get groceries and school supplies, your telling me that you believe the CC companies can see everything I bought?

Not sure what level 3 data is, but why wouldn't they get that from Target?

there are 2 stages here. The first stage of the temp card is swiped at purchase - imo, even an spg swipe should be 'normal' as it's a reg target purchase.

Once there are subsequent reloads and/or the permanent card comes, then it may pay to be more cautious. Perhaps the charges will be tracked differently.

Lady at target told me she had about a dozen ppl come in with these cards and everyone kne how to use them better then the store employees!! I just smiled. She said "see u tomorrow ".

Because of this:

...as long as WM and Target don't speak to each other, hopefully we can get a couple months out of this once our perm cards come in the mail.
