Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

are they supposed to scan card or barcode on paper wrapping?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Idk,
Lets just put it in perspective, your spouse to activate it b4 you leave the store, ie with the package..
Only then do you open it,
So I doubt it

They were very reluctant to activate without the receipt. Only after telling them that when I called up "that's what they told me to do" and "can we try...I'm a bit confused as well", did the rep give in..

At the initial register page; should I enter the DOB on my license which I used to register card? Or the actual one attached to the social I'm gonna use for online registration?

I think when registering for the permanent card, you don't need any information that was used when purchasing it.

Yes, but you can't register 2 cards to the same ss#
The in-store registration was on my name and social. I the setup online with 2nd name and social. Can I go back tomorrow and and do in-store registration on other card using my name and social?

Yes.
Can they use same email address? (They won't let you register to same email address as regular redcard credit card).

Someone up thread had the same issue, and when they went into the store, they couldn't 'buy' it as it was already compromised..
The question is, why didn't Dan give you instructions how to register..

Went to finally try and register.  And it came up on screen something to the effect of "dont not sell". Guess am gone have to get from out of state
