Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

I read the FAQ but have a quick question. I see there's a $1,000 per transaction limit. Can you load with 3 different credit cards at one time to get to the $2,500 daily limit?

the 50 year old big fatty :) mommy had both her eyes glued, staring at me and watching my every hand movement when I was loading at one store.

There was no chance I could use different card. The moment I said I want to load my card, she said OK ALRIGHT, I NEED TO SEE YOUR DL AND THE CARD YOU ARE LOADING. From there on her eyes were pointed to me and my hand.
The other day, A blogger on boardingarea.com reported that when he told them $500 load amount, he was asked to go to the electronic department/section and ask someone there to load. This was of course an attempt/trick by the agent to get him to leave.

I have  never had trouble  other than that one agent mentioned above who talked to me like I was doing something unlawful.. Only one agent asked him why am  loading, I told her I am just loading my own  money on my own card. it's just like going to a bank to deposit your money to your own bank account. she was like OHH YEAH. It did make sense to her.

I'm not sure that was a trick. When i went to get Redcards, i asked CS where they are and they sent me to electronics, even though most were by the registers. I suspect they just don't know about it and assume for some reason that someone in electronics knows better.
