Inbound aircraft delayed will my flight be delayed ?

I am flying UA 445 tonight at 829pm from JFK and flight is still showing on time.

The inbound aircraft flight 760 from SFO is delayed 2 hours and wont be here in time.

Will my flight be delayed or will they be able to find another aircraft ?

UA OPS will determine that. If they are using the in bound aircraft you obviously will not be leaving on time.

That decision will not be made right away and I would recommend checking again 3 hours prior to departure.

They switched our aircraft to one coming from LAX so we have a 45 min delay.

Just flew EWR-LAX and the inbound was delayed but within 10 min they had switched our gate and had us boarding another plane. Very surprising for the airline industry today.

Nope it happened as we were lining up to board they said that there is no plane there
