+1 I keyed in a good 5 or 6 gift cards they didn't care but once I swiped for $700 & they closed me down.

They aren't offering to reopen the account after 45 days.  They shut me down and are holding my my money for 45 days.

it's not a hassle at all. Just go into the app and press refund, and the money will be back on your credit card in 2-3 days.

I am not able swipe at all anymore.  What I swiped before they shut me down, they are holding and say they will deposit in 45 days.

There may be an issue using it abroad since you need to have GPS turned on when you use it.

Charged a CC yesterday and was expecting it to show up in my checking account this morning. It didn't.
It doesn't show in my Square transaction history but there is a pending charge on my CC for the amount the I charged. Weird.

Will update.

Still pending. I expect it will drop off -- particularly because it is still pending after four days which IME seems to be the case usually only for charges that will drop off CMIIW -- but I don't want to charge again until I see that it is gone. Want to be safe. Hope it drops off soon.

I just got the dreaded email. It's my fault though. Until now I have always started by making the first charge on an account in the sum of $100-$200 and then slowly creeping up - even upto $1400 in one swipe eventually - and have never had issues. I was on my last account which had never been used yet and only had $1000 available for fee-free swiping, and I was a little impatient, so at 7:59 PM EST I charged $999.98 on one card, and by 9:00 PM I got the email.
I assume that means they will be blocking even tonight's deposit even though it was already an hour after 8PM by the time they sent the email because they don't usually actually transfer until the wee hours of the morning. Oh well
