Square Up is now offering to process $1,000 in credit card sales without fees (both swiped and key-ed in transaction fees will be waived)  for new Square customers.
You will receive free processing on up to $1,000 (total, not per month)in credit card transactions for the first 180 days. Afterwards, you pay the standard 2.75% per swipe for all major credit cards. 3.5% + $0.15 for manually entered transactions.

I now legit businesses that are getting the emails too. HEard from a shop owner who had 9k in legit charges one day last week and they closed him down. Something tells me that they are not financially secure or got creamed by the free 1k swipe offer. They can theoretically go under any given day and your money is stuck there through a bankruptcy. Be careful. If you get the email, refund the charges and run. Dont try and wait them out. Its not worth the risk.

But cmiiw they don't shut you down they just ask u for verification documents & if ur a legit business and ur ready to go thru with verification then I can't see why they wouldn't open you back up

When i was approved 2 weeks ago a swiped $5. Last Tuesday i swiped $185+$365 @6:00. That night around 9:00 i got the email.

I swiped $236 no problem the 2nd swipe was 3 days later same person (which was prob the trigger) different credit card around $245 & I was shut down.
