I put up my link to get started and asked if anyone wanted to exchange swipes.

like i said I'm only after a few then it's someone else's turn. This guy has been messaging me all morning asking me how Square works and promising me he has signed up with my link (FALSE) and then asked me to sign up with his! WHICH PROVES HE HAS NO IDEA HOW THIS WORKS. so he is spamming me in my messages as well as replying to my link with "wrong spelling" and "i think this is a better link" -

just bad karma moves all around. and time wasting - on that note LETS MOVE ON! Use whoever's link you want. which was my point - help everyone out.

Do they actually look up to see if I'm a legal business? I set up square as if I'm a regular business. Never swiping my own cards. In square I use their register with items. So if I'm swapping swipes for my friend it looks like he bought a bunch of stuff that I rang him up for in the register. I'm assuming square can see the items.

If that's the case I guess I'm better of doing a few very large swipes than doing lower charges and slowly going bigger

I have "built up" a few accounts, starting slowly ($100-$150) and moving up gradually. never asked for documents.
