Is ADD airport safe?

I have the option to fly through either Addis Ababa ET (ADD) or Dakar SN (DKR). I want to avoid DKR due to its proximity to the Ebola outbreak. However, is ADD a safe airport?
Does anyone have experience flying through there?

No experience, but I'd be concerned about the security in ADD since its hard to prevent crime if you're constantly distracted.
