The main benefit you get is lounge access, a steal for $100 USD P.A - I bought a year off superultimate and I have enjoyed using it ever since.

Benefits
American Express Centurion Lounge Benefits | Unlimited Entry + 1 Guest
Lufthansa Business Lounge Access or Senator Lounge Access when flying in Business | Unlimited Entry No Guest
Delta SkyClub Access when flying on Delta | Unlimited Entry No Guest
Virgin Australia Business Lounge Access (Even for US cards, Australian ID though) | Unlimited Entry No Guest
Priority Pass Select | Unlimited Entry + 2 Guests for lounge access globally

Risks
You will need to lodge some personal information to the seller, in this case superultimate has been fantastic and would trust him going forward
You will need to submit your SSN BUT to American Express, not to the seller. If you dont have an SSN, a passport will do just fine, even if it isnt US issued (I used my AU passport)

How it is done
Assuming that you meet the requirements for becoming an Authorized User, the seller will send a request to American Express. You will need to call them to finalize the ID verification but apart from that its all taken care of from superultimate. You will receive the card to your home address, or you can have superultimate forward the card internationally through UPS.

After that, you will be given a log in into American Express, feel free to register for Priority Pass and when you receive both cards, its all done.

Can anyone confirm that when adding a AU on a Amex plat you do not need their social?

Anyone have a spot where the card would remain open for at least 3 months?

But does anyone know? If my card has no authorized spending, does that show up as $0 limit on credit report? That would look bad and I'm not sure about that.

I would show eBay feedback to the cardholder so they feel confident adding me.

I am a college student and only want the card for lounge access. If you are willing to meet somewhere so I can join your card it would be amazing. I am currently in Cleveland and will be returning to NY for the year.
PM me if you are interested. I can cancel the card the day I activate it- this way no issue with credit line!

Anyone have slots available, or still do this? I'm looking for 1-2 auth user cards, let me know your price. Thanks!

Alright, potentially reversing this now- I have 1 slot available on a plat card. Looking for $100 + a refundable deposit of whatever the minimum spend I can lower the auth user cards to. I believe this is $200. So you'll get all the authorized user benefits for ~1 year (11.5 months currently), you'll pay me $300 now, and at the end of the year (assuming you haven't spent anything on the card and we close your auth user account) I'll send you back your $200.  I will likely keep this past the 1 year mark, so if you'd like to have this for a longer period of time this might be helpful for you (you won't have to pay an additional deposit the following year, I'll just keep the original $200, and each year will cost you $100). Please msg me if you have interest, or have suggestions on how this might work better than what I wrote above.

just wondering how this works... doesn't each additional card cost $175? What is the benefit to share this?

Probably missing something, but:

Hilton Gold Status (gets you upgrades/lounge access pretty frequently)
SPG/Marriott Gold Status- same as above, less likely to get lounge access, but some extra perks
Fee credit for Gobal Entry or TSA precheck
Hertz 5 Star status (comes with a 4-hour grace period, which is nice)
Some SoulCycle benefits
Access to Fine Hotels and Resorts- for vacations, sometimes great deals on hotels- pay same price, get a free upgrade, $100 food credit, etc etc
Access to the Centurion Lounges
priority pass
Eurostar (train) premier lounges (probably something you’ll never use, but who knows. Paris is the main one.
Airspace Lounges (several, but significant one is JFK T5)
Delta Sky club access, when you fly delta
Virgin Australia Lounges when you fly Virgin.

The fun part is that not everyone gets charged the AU fee if you don’t use the card. I’m going on 2.5 years having 3 family member AU who only “use” the card for delta lounge and I still haven’t been charged the $175

Interesting, didn't know that. Has that been consistently seen? I also assume it breaks if a single AU charges anything (like Global Entry for example), even if it gets reimbursed? And any experiences with Centurion Lounges, where they do swipe the card even if they don't end up charging it?

is there a list where we can see the share benefits of the primary vs secondary.  Also will there be a credit check on the additional users?

will each additional user have their own rewards account and statement?

What if the additional user doesn't pay their bill -- will the primary account holder credit get hit?   how about vice versa -- if the primary account holder doesn't pay the bill, will all the additional user's credit get affected?

Thanks so much!

To the best of my knowledge:

1. Will there be a credit check on the additional users? NO

2.  Will each additional user have their own rewards account and statement? NO (and any AU should not be spending on this card anyway!)

3. What if the additional user doesn't pay their bill -- will the primary account holder credit get hit?   how about vice versa -- if the primary account holder doesn't pay the bill, will all the additional user's credit get affected? ONLY THE CREDIT OF THE AH IS AT RISK.

Thanks so much!  I want to get split this with some close friends and just wondering if there's anyway to put a spend limit on their cards -- like $5000 or $1000
