I have Personal Platinum and will add 1 AU on it. $125 each.
But not sure how the CC usage from AU works...can someone pls give some info on it?

You can reduce the CL to as low as $200. Then, you can choose to risk that or have them give you a $200 refundable deposit.

Does Amex allow CL $0 so an AU can only use for lounge access and benefits only?

You can freeze the card.

Btw: You need a social (AFAIK) to remain an AU on this card.
