Its not so easy to get a gun past security....

You can get the lounge pass at the check in before security and then lose the gun.

I am pretty sure that most people on this forum disagree with you and you can look at the posts in this thread you will see this conversation going on and decide that. And there are also things that go on here that are not lying and cheating i dont know why you say that.

They didn't say one way or the other, but the fact is that it works even when canceled.
If they didn't want it to work then it wouldn't.

Amex never "said" that you can use the card even after you cancel it. Why not call them up and ask them if you think thats what they will say? Im not saying its correct or incorrect to use it, nor am i looking to debate it (we did that several months ago in one of the older threads). All i am saying is that Amex never said any such thing. The fact that it works is likely a glitch or they choose to overlook it. Perhaps their cheshbon is similar to that of a sign up bonus on a cc. Or a 30 day trial of some software or program with a free gift...offer a perk to get you to sign up. If you cancel, you keep the perk. The rationale is that you may sign up and decide you like it.
I do have 2 amex platinums (1 for the wife) and do not plan on canceling them for the first year. When i do cancel it, i will discuss the matter with my Rov. I will also not post here what my Rov says as each person who believes it is even a shaila should ask their own Rov.
