Looking at multiple flights on Swiss and Austrian availability shows on lifemiles and United but not on aeroplan. Will they be able to book it by phone? Or are there any other tricks to get them to show the seats?

Hello everyone,

I flew with Aeroplan from:

DXB to BAH (Gulf Air)
BAH to FRA (Gulf Air)
FRA to CDG (Lufthansa)
 
When I arrived at FRA I had a 45 minutes connection and they delayed the arrival and I was not able to arrive on time for the last leg.

When I talked to Lufthansa to get booked on the next flight, they said no you need to Gulf Air. When I talked to Gulf Air, they said I need to talk to Aeroplan.

I went to Air Canada counter and they said talk to Aeroplan. I called Aeroplan and there was a 90 minutes delay so I had to rebook on my own an Air France flight.

What should you recommend as next steps on this?

You can reach out to Aeroplan for a refund/compensation as the AC desk didn't help you when they should have, it was ticketed by AC after all.

Opened an Aeroplan account, transferred 60,000 CO points, booked a flight, was about to purchase, and it logged me out.

When I tried to log back in, it said account deactivated, contact their number. I'm on hold for a half hour already.

Anyone know what in the world is going on?

You may have gotten flagged, which would require you to send them your ID and wait a few weeks to get verified.

Update: Had account reinstated within 3 days. Had to provide passport and utility bill.

That's not working. Also not working on Lot's website, although it worked a few weeks ago. Over the phone they say everything is confirmed and ticketed.

Sometimes I'd book FB over AC just because of that alone

I called Aeroplan and they actually reissued the tickets as it wasn't working on AC website either, but it only helped for one of my bookings, still can't access my second booking online.
Both AC and LO promise that the bookings are in good standing and 100% ticketed.
