The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

Aeroplan Master Thread
« on: October 14, 2014, 04:43:25 PM »
I'll start off the newest master thread with 2 question.
A)Does the United method for avoiding close in fee work with Aeroplan?
B)Is any ticket available with United Miles, also with Aeroplan if I call up?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

A - huh? Since when does UA charge YQ?

B - Yes, besides if its UA expended availability for card holders or elites.

Only Saver that's not expanded availability.

My mistake. I'm looking at a flight from YYZ to BOS. Aeroplan charges $115.79 in taxes and fees. Strangely, United charges $129.30 for the same flight includung the close-in fee. without that it would be $54.30. Before looking at a the breakdown I assumed it included a close-in fee. However Aeroplan only charges 7500 miles for the one-way flight.

Aeroplan charges one of the taxes as well that zUA doesn't. Not sure which, as I'm on the go now. IIRC its not the YQ, as there is no YQ on this route

You can't cancel an Aeroplan award for free, even with in 24 hrs of booking. The only thing you'd be able to do is -
Until 2 hours before departure.
1) Cancel without redeposit. Cost: $90.
2) Change the flight to a flight 21 days out and then cancel with redeposit. Cost $180
