The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

When looking on united I have 6 business seats available from lga to tlv with a stop in yyz.
Though when I look it up on aeroplan I get hit with $500 a seat in fees, and I only get it with 2 stops!
Is there an explanation?
Am I missing something?

Air Canada charges fuel surcharges on their own flight.

I have an Aeroplan ticket for Passenger X who can no longer fly, but turns out that passenger Y (account holder) needs to fly the same route same time.
Both have the same last name.
I can't just cancel ticket and reissue, as it is within 21 days.
I called Aeroplan and said that the wrong first name was used, but they won't change it because the dates of births are completely different.
[They have Passenger X's DOB from time of booking and Passenger Y's DOB on the account, as he is account holder.]
I assume there is no point with HUCA here.

Questions:
1. Is it possible to reschedule departure date for more than 21 days and then cancel (with double $90 penalty)?
2. Any other ideas?

Thanks.
One more question, if I go with the cancel option, I have 1 year to use the ticket, can the ticket be reissued in someone else's name?

Just change the first name. DOB doesn't make a difference.

No. Yesterday I waited over an hour to speak with a rep as the website kept on giving errors

I once had a similar thing I needed to change passenger name and destination, and the rep helped me out,she said lets first change it to more then 21 days out. I helped find avaibility charged me $90 and then another $90 to redeposit the miles.

I booked a ticket with Aeroplan (on United) and misspelled one letter of the passengers name. Aeroplan wants $90 to cancel and re-book, claiming they cannot change the name they have to cancel and re-book the ticket. United also claims they have no access and only Aroplan would be able to change it.

Is there any way i can change the one letter and not be charged$90?

One wrong letter shouldn't be a problem.

Yes.
Thanks. But a while ago i had that with a US airways flight booked with Avios and US check in agent said there was absolutely no way for them to change the name (one letter) why do you think this will not be a problem?

PS. it is for an international flight.
