The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

Ok let me ask a more direct question.

A family member has 50,000 Aeroplan miles but claims he needs 75,000  for roundtrip YUL-KBP.
Assuming his facts are true, how do you suggest he go about using his points for that ticket?
Any MR points to top off the account?

Transfer 25k MR or 20k SPG into his Aeroplan account.

-1, you can have two stopover's or one stopover & one open jaw. There's no trail flight option with AC. IIRW

You're right, IFTFM. I meant the point of no trail flight.

He wants to return to his departure city, so no trail flight afterwards....

If I'm allowed 2 stopovers then why can't I have a trail flight ? Why is it limited to an open jaw ?!

I thought once you get back to your departing city, the itinerary is over. I guess I'm wrong.

Please ccmiw, as long as I stop in a city less then 24hrs then that's considered a connection and not a stop over, Example NYC- XXX ( less then 24hrs ) - TLV - open jaw XXX-NYC and then I can still tack on HNL, and NYC will be my stopover ?

<24 hours = layover, not stopover.

No, you could not do what you're suggesting: NYC-XXX-TLV // XXX-NYC // NYC-HNL

That's 2 OJs.

Can one change from Y to J, and just pay diff. In miles, as long as a part of the itinerary was already booked in J ?

If part of the itinerary is in J why would there be a difference in miles?

if one leg is in J, and the other in Y, they charge the same amount of miles , just like if they are both in J ?
