Both J.
not sure what you mean & could be you mean the same thing what im about to write, but a mixed award of Y & J is priced out as fully J.
And if availability opens in J do you get it? Ive been looking at many mixed award Y & J NYC-BUD in March. Know its early but can i lock up the available seats now and if J opens grab those seats somehow?
Might be a $150 or so change fee involved. Not 100% certain..
If J opens on the same flight that you are booked in, there is no fee change.
FTR, their change fee is 90 CAD ($65-$70 USD) (not saying you'll be charged).
If thats the case its virtually a plan B
Upthread it says, there is only no change fee, if one leg on the trip was originally booked into J, but if both were in Y then they will charge you. Is that correct, it will it be free either way ?
The question is do you get the mileage back if you stay in Y? For example: You book RT NYC-BUD RT, outbound is J on both legs and inbound the short-haul is J but the long-haul is in Y.
Just book OW for now the other will open. whats the rush?
No, u dont
