The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

Aeroplan is showing zero availability for the entire year from JFK-YVR.

1) Am I doing something wrong?
2) Would Aeroplan show united flights? (because on united showing some availability but Aeroplan nothing)?

thank You

JFK-???

What date are you seeing on United that's not showing on Aeroplan?

ETA: Assuming you mean JFK-VIE. Checked United for random date (9/14) and there's OS J available. Put it into Aeroplan and it's showing the same thing.

Promo going on now. Noticed some random extra miles in my account, and turns out they were from a transfer promotion. SPG is eligible, but not Amex.

https://www3.aeroplan.com/promotions/promotion_details.do?promotion=FallConversion

Note that it says it starts in November, but I got in on the promotion in August.

Whats cancellation policy with Aeroplan Award tickets on United? Can I cancel within 24hrs if flight is within 24hrs?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

No cancellations allowed w/o penalty even 2 minutes later unless you get a Rep who will do it as a goodwill gesture

Is there an option to have a household account by aeroplane?

We recently flew with AC and only wife could collect the miles cuz account is under her name.

As per rep it cost .2 cents each mile to transfer so don't see the point of a separate account.

Any solution?

Just call them. Takes 2 min on phone. No hold time generally.

Seems like Aeroplan's changing their cancellation/change fees.. http://dcta.boardingarea.com/2016/10/enhancement-aeroplan-changerefund-fees-hint-sucks/

More in line with the US carriers.

To general of a question, it depends where you're originating from.
If you find a stupid/nice phone rep they will allow backtracking etc.
Play around with different routes online and over the phone
