The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

I just realized that Aeroplan has no 24 hrs. cancellation policy.

Any idea how to get them to do this for free?

Also, isn't this against the DOT rule?

If you call within 24 hours, you sometimes get an agent to cancel & refund but YMMV.

DOT rule applies to all US originated or terminated flights, Operator can be foreign.

However calls routed only to Mounties need not apply.

Are you on hold while dealing with an agent or still waiting for one? Which number did you call?

800-479-1205

Connects to a live agent right away (usually).
I just tried this number and was connected within 15 seconds.

Update.

I paid $90 CAD  (usually it's $150 as per their new rate) and got it canceled/refunded. They said I pay $90 because it's a US account,  and $150 is only for Canadians. I didn't complaint :-)

If anyone can confirm that the DOT rule should apply here I will go ahead and open a complaint, I don't see why they should be exempt.

why not try to book before you ask! take the time to do some work yourself

just gave u some info on santorini that you asked about  PLUS  "I" googled for you link about pools that you asked about

looks like to me you are planning to go to Santorini -- planning requires some effort

Uh, calm down maybe? That was a perfectly valid question to ask and it was asked in the appropriate thread, if you don't want to answer then don't but there's no need to get all snarky.

sorry u do not like the idea of first "try" to get "simple" info on your own - all he had to do was go to A3 web site and try to make a reservation it woulds take about 3 minutes at most -

I think you mean AC.

I don't think its a big deal. So he asked. We all live and learn. Shall we all go looking into your posts and critique the ones we feel you could have figured out on your own?

Just as an FYI, I did try to figure it out on my own first. I called AC and asked them if they can do it and they said no. So instead of HUCAing a million times to see if the first rep was actually right, I figured I'd throw the question out on the forums.

What happens when you try searching for it on AC.com?
