The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

I have a flight from LAX-SFO-LIS-TLV.
The SFO-LIS-TLV is on 6/25 departing 4 pm.
When I booked, I could only find LAX-SFO on 6/24 departing 11 pm.
Now, there are morning flights available on 6/25, which is much more convenient.
Is there any way to change without the fee?
There was a minor schedule change (by minutes) and they wouldn't do it for free.
Any ideas?
try have united change it due to schedule change

Looking to book with AC miles on partner airlines. how accommodating are they in case of IRROPS?
do they have access to put you on other airlines revenue tickets?

Asking specifically as the itinerary includes an hour and 15 min connection with Turkish and i'm worried about what happens if there is a delay.

If its a legal convection all on one itinerary they will protect you.

thanks, i guess i was asking "how will they protect me". will they put me on the next available revenue flight to my destination? or will they try to find the next available award flight.

I think every airline gets you on the next flight...except Spirit...they put you on a bus. I would venture a guess that 99% of unplanned flight changes from awards become revenue. I'd love to get statistics on that.

lol, i never flew spirit, and dont plan on flying them if i have a choice.

I guess my concern with Aeroplan is that they are not strictly an airline, so do they still have access to other revenue seats? i know that they will be shortly folded into AC proper.

Once you're booked its the airlines job to protect, not Aeroplan.

TK.
Airlines always have access to the ticket 24-72 hours before the flight regardless the agency that booked them.

That's what are alliances for. As long as both flights are under the same PNR.

If you are on one itinerary what difference does it make? Theyre both *A carriers and you're connecting from one to another. Who cares whose fault it is? e.g. If you fly UA connecting to LH and they sold you the ticket, allowing for MCT, they need to rebook you. Why should this be any different? This is "Connecting Flights, Same Alliance, Same Itinerary 101". Your concerns are all from the AC booking. Thats over once you booked and are ticketed.

-1, that's only true once the airline takes control of the ticket which only happens close in.

From now Aeroplan bookings can be cancelled free in the 24 hours!

I’m pleased to share some changes designed to make Aeroplan more flexible and member friendly. We’re excited to introduce a new, more rewarding loyalty program next year, and in the meantime, we’re committed to listening to you and implementing improvements like the ones below. With this in mind, the following changes take effect immediately:
Complimentary, full refunds within 24 hours of booking
Travel plans can change, so Aeroplan members will now be able to cancel and refund Flight Rewards for free within 24 hours of booking.

Option to refund your Flight Reward up to 2 hours before departure
Aeroplan members can now cancel and refund their Flight Reward booking for a fee up until 2 hours prior to departure. Rather than keeping cancelled tickets open for future travel, Aeroplan Miles, taxes and fees will be refunded, and members may book new tickets anytime in the future, delivering greater flexibility than before.

Reduction of the aeroplan.com Refund Fee
Aeroplan will lower the Refund Fee to $125 for refunds completed via aeroplan.com, and eligible members will continue to enjoy a lower fee amount, where applicable.
