Weird reason for getting denied a card

just applied for the ink. i was told since i didnt have a credit card three years old of at least $5,000 dollars credit line that i could not receive a business card no matter what. even if i shifted credit. has anyone ever heard of this and if so how do u get around it.

I know about the thread, I just figured there was a higher chance of getting a response here quicker.
Also to make this whole thing weirder i spoke to somone at chase today. But when I called back a few hours later to try again I called the number DAN posted and was told they are closed on Sundays.

Just got denied because "You can only apply for 2 chase products in a 30 day period". Anyone hear of that one?

(I know, HUCA...)

I know...I've gotten lucky, I have rarely had to HUCA. Today was one of the first times. They're catching on to me...
